Here's last years winner!
One of those days you set in your stand and ask
yourself why in the world am I here. He had set for a
long spell not seeing anything then he caught
movement out of the corner of the eye that wasn't
shoved in his hunting coat. Well much to his
surprise it was 3 huge bucks all coming in at the
same time. He swears he would have taken any of
the 3. They were all 200" deer one even had a 9"
drop tine. But he told himself he
was shooting the first one that gave him a shot.
Well turns out the 16pt 221" buck gave him the shot.
So he drew back his Mathews Switchback and took
the shot. Well this gets better !!! HE MISSED !! Ya
thats right he hit a branch and the arrow landed at
the deers feet. Well you guessed it all 3 deer ran off.
So like most grown men would do he hung his bow
back on the hanger and lit a smoke and cried like a
baby and shook like a leaf in the wind. Well again you
guessed it just a couple drags into his smoke here
they came back. And the rest is history
